Killeen, Texas is approximately 140 miles south of Dallas on Interstate 35. To get to Killeen, take the Fort Hood/Killeen Exit (Hwy 190 West) in Belton, just south of Temple. Killeen is approximately 17 miles west of Belton.
From the Austin / San Antonio area
Killeen, Texas is approximately 67 miles north of Austin via Interstate 35 and approximately 146 miles from San Antonio. To get to Killeen, take the Fort Hood/Killeen Exit (Hwy 190 West) in Belton, just south of Temple. Killeen is approximately 17 miles west of Belton.
From the Houston area
From Houston, take US-290 West for approximately 67 miles, then north on Texas 36 at Brenham. Continue on Texas 36 approximately 92 miles to Temple. (Texas 36 is also designated US 190 north of US-79.) At Temple, go south on Interstate 35, taking the Fort Hood/Killeen Exit (Hwy 190 West) in Belton. Killeen is approximately 198 miles from Houston.
